3D Tube Laser Cutting for Tubes and Profiles

With our 3D tube laser, we manufacture tube and profile components directly from CAD data. Holes, slots, cut-outs, notches and complex contours can be produced in a single machining process.

This reduces the need for separate sawing, drilling or milling operations. It is particularly beneficial for components that are subsequently bent, welded or assembled.

Technical capabilities of our tube laser

Not every tube and contour has the same machining requirements. For each inquiry, we therefore assess not only the material, but the complete component: cross-section, wall thickness, profile length, weight and geometry.

Materials and wall thicknesses

  • Stainless steel up to 6 mm
  • Steel up to 12 mm
  • Aluminium up to 6 mm
  • Brass up to 6 mm

Processable cross-sections

  • Square tubes up to 152.4 × 152.4 mm
  • Round tubes up to Ø 152.4 mm
  • Custom and open profiles up to 120 × 120 mm, subject to technical review
  • Bar weight up to 23 kg/m
  • Profile length up to 6,500 mm, with automatic loading and unloading

When is tube laser cutting worthwhile?

When several machining operations are required on the same profile. Cutting to length, drilling, slotting and notching can be combined in a single process.

Tube components ready for further processing

Interlocking, fitting and positioning geometries simplify subsequent bending, welding and assembly.

What information do we need?

Material, profile, dimensions, wall thickness, quantity and, ideally, CAD data or a technical drawing.

Tube laser cutting at Inox Design

We have been working with tube laser technology since 2015. In 2026, our machinery was expanded with a new BLM tube laser.
